Day 01: Arrive Cochin
Arrive Cochin where a Dominion Travel representative will meet and transfer you to the luxury Taj Malabar for a 2 night stay. Rest of day is at leisure.
Day 02: In Cochin (B)
Morning city tour of Cochin. Visit the historic Fort Cochin, the enchanting Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace with its well preserved vegetable dye murals and the Jewish Synagogue, still in use today.
Day 03: Cochin – Periyar by road (200 Kms / 3 hrs approx) (B)
Morning drive up into the hills to Periyar (Thekkady), one of the most fascinating wildlife sanctuaries in India, renowned for the herds of elephants and scenic beauty. Upon arrival check-in at Spice Village (part of CGH Earth as no Taj property in locality) for a 2 night stay. In the evening take a boat ride on Lake Periyar.
Day 04: In Periyar (B)
Morning is at leisure with an afternoon visit to the cardamom, pepper, tea and coffee plantations.
Day 05: Periyar – Alleppey - Board houseboat (B, L, D)
Morning drive to Alleppey. Embark on your houseboat cruise to Kumarakom. Cruise through the beautiful villages and lush paddy fields. Overnight stay on the Houseboat. Day 06: Alleppey – Kovalam by road (176 Kms / 5 Hrs approx) (B)
Disembark from your houseboat and transfer to Kovalam. Upon arrival check-in at the Taj Green Cove Resort for a 4 night stay. Rest of the day is at leisure.
